Professor Sari Yamamoto of the Faculty of Arts will appear twice on NHK Educational TV's "Walking and Walking Tour: Rediscovering the Charm of the City."

In episode 5, Professor Yamamoto walks around Tsukuba in search of fascinating color techniques, explaining color schemes that you might not notice unless someone points them out.
The exhibition will also introduce the university's medical cafeteria and student accommodation, for which Professor Yamamoto was involved in planning the exterior color scheme.

Lecture and talk session “Takafumi Kiyomiya & Tetsuro Komai—Silence surrounding the plate”

A related project will be held on June 2nd in conjunction with the UTAC University of Tsukuba Art Collection Ishii Collection special exhibition "Things on Paper. 6: Takifumi Kiyomiya & Tetsuro Komai" currently being held at the University Hall Art Space.

From the perspectives of art history and printmaking research, we explore the essence of the tranquil expressions common to Kiyomiya Takafumi, Komai Tetsuro, and the Swiss painter Paul Klee, who is considered to be one of Komai's inspirations.
