Assistant Professor Miki Yamamoto of the Department of Art received the Excellence Award in the Manga Division of the 2020th Japan Media Arts Festival in recognition of her manga ``Smart and Courageous Children'' (Reid Publishing) published in 24.
The Japan Media Arts Festival is a comprehensive media arts festival that honors outstanding works in four categories: art, entertainment, animation, and manga.One Grand Prize, four Excellence Awards, three Newcomer Awards, and one Social Impact Award will be selected from each category.
