Lecture and talk session “Takafumi Kiyomiya & Tetsuro Komai—Silence surrounding the plate”
A related project will be held on June 2nd in conjunction with the UTAC University of Tsukuba Art Collection Ishii Collection special exhibition "Things on Paper. 6: Takifumi Kiyomiya & Tetsuro Komai" currently being held at the University Hall Art Space.
From the perspectives of art history and printmaking research, we explore the essence of the tranquil expressions common to Kiyomiya Takafumi, Komai Tetsuro, and the Swiss painter Paul Klee, who is considered to be one of Komai's inspirations.
