I am thinking broadly about ways to improve the environment, with a focus on color. We are involved in joint research with companies, local governments, and designers, and aim to investigate, experiment, analyze, evaluate, and ultimately utilize our results in design.Controlling design through color is highly cost-effective and can energize a town, make it easier to understand, and organize it.Recent research examples are as follows.
Implementation design: Color design and graphics for buildings, cars, uniforms, etc., public signs, etc.
Dissertation research: Public environment design for shared spaces with an eye toward autonomous driving, color control methods in landscape laws, methods for regulating outdoor advertising, etc.

Main research themes

Building a design system for a Japanese version of shared space
Environmental color design methods that contribute to Areas of studyal revitalization
