Currently, there are many complaints and problems related to the sound environment in apartment complexes, etc., and there are still issues that need to be resolved.Furthermore, new building construction methods (such as the CLT panel construction method) have emerged as part of national measures to promote the use of wood, creating new challenges such as improving the sound environment performance of wooden buildings, which generally have poor performance. .In addition, one of the issues that should be addressed is the standardization of sound environment performance measurement and evaluation methods (JIS standardization), and the review of standards with an eye to compatibility with ISO standards.Noise in buildings can be viewed as a daily problem for residents and users, and we conduct research to solve these problems and elucidate physical phenomena such as sound and vibration. In order to obtain research results that can contribute to society, we will work not only in the field of architectural acoustics, but also in collaboration with other fields, ultimately aiming to provide a comfortable living environment from the perspective of sound environment performance.
