Challenge to remote reality 2: Holding a remote participation project for intensive training at Politecnico di Milano

The Design Studies degree program will continue to carry out international design projects in 2021.
Continuing from 2020, 2 teams and 7 people participated in the year-end intensive exercise at Politecnico di Milano.
Unlike the 2020 academic year, this exercise was short-term, lasting just one week, but the University of Tsukuba did quick modeling (manual work) and design, sent the data to Milan, outputted the actual model at a partner company, and completed an online presentation. We evaluated the work output on the Milan side.
I also experienced that the practice of remote reality, which uses digital technology to share physical objects between parties, is not limited to 3D printers.

It was displayed.

This time, instead of forming a mixed team remotely with the Italian side, we formed two teams among the participating students from the Tsukuba side.In addition to 2 teams from Politecnico di Milano, a total of 12 teams held the workshop.
