Greetings from the degree program leader

Terumi Hotokeyama
art professor

Starting in 2, our university has transitioned to an educational system centered on degree programs so that faculty from a wide range of academic fields can work together to provide education, transcending organizational boundaries. We are expected to develop educational research that goes beyond traditional frameworks and accurately respond to the increasingly sophisticated and diverse needs for human resource development in a modern society that is rapidly changing and facing complex issues.

The Fine Arts degree program conducts specialized research in theory and practical skills related to plastic arts from a wide perspective, and uses advanced skills, practical application abilities, and planning ability to respond to the diverse developments in plastic arts today and contribute to society. We train highly specialized professionals and researchers who can play leadership roles (master's program). In addition, we train researchers who have creative research skills related to plastic arts and who can contribute to various areas of society through their outstanding specialized knowledge and practical skills, as well as university teachers who have solid teaching and research skills. (Doctoral course).

In addition to deepening specialized knowledge and skills in the field, cultivate the ability to proactively discover issues based on a wide range of knowledge, develop research creatively and uniquely, and conduct accurate research while clearly indicating the meaning and purpose. I hope that methods will be established to lead to research results that can contribute to the advancement of the field.
