CAIR (Campus Artist In Residence) is an artist-in-residence program that has been held at the University of Tsukuba every February since 2019.
Art students invited from overseas and students from the College of Art at the University of Tsukuba will work together on everything from production to exhibition.
It has become an opportunity for each participant to acquire new values and expressions through interaction.
CAIR2022 will implement an online program just like last year. This year's theme is "FEEL".
It has the meaning of valuing the feelings and changes in your heart that you feel when you learn something new or when you are influenced by each other. Under this theme, CAIR2022 will hold art practices and exchanges at each location.By creating a place for more diverse exchange than usual, we aim to have a positive impact on the residency and future production activities. We are looking for people who want to gain new discoveries and sensations that will lead to the future, and who want to expand their range of expression through interaction with domestic and international artists.
