  1. Submission qualifications will be granted to those who fall under 1) to 7) below.
    1. Graduates of the University of Tsukuba College of Art, Art History Area (formerly the Art Studies Major, the former Art Studies Major Art Course, the former Art Studies Major Art Studies/Art History Course, and the former Art History Course).
    2. University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, Comprehensive Human Sciences Research Group, Arts Degree Program Current students and graduates of the master's program in art history and the latter's program.
    3. Current students and graduates of the master's and doctoral programs in art at the Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, University of Tsukuba.
    4. Graduates of the former doctoral program (5-year integrated system), Graduate School of Arts, University of Tsukuba, and master's degree holders.
    5. Graduates of the University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Comprehensive Human Sciences, former doctoral program (5-year integrated course), Arts major, and master's degree holders.
    6. Professor of Art History, Faculty of Art, University of Tsukuba.
    7. If 1) to 5) above do not apply, please attach a letter of introduction (in any format) from the faculty member listed in 6 above.
  2. All submitted manuscripts must be unpublished.
  3. As a general rule, the main text and notes of the paper should not exceed 18000 characters in total.The total number of illustrations and tables must be no more than 15.
  4. As a general rule, the text and notes for "Research Notes," "Book Reviews," and "Exhibition Reviews" should be no more than 12000 characters in total.The total number of illustrations and tables must be no more than 10.
  5. When writing, follow the ``Gesou Writing Guidelines.''Submit four copies of the manuscript, including copies.
  6. All accepted papers will be registered in the University of Tsukuba academic repository and will be made publicly viewable via the Internet.Printed papers will be uploaded in PDF format, but illustrations will not be published on the repository due to copyright considerations.This does not apply to figures and tables created by authors, which may be made public at the author's request.
  7. Submitted manuscripts should be sent to the address below in an envelope marked ``Gesou Manuscript Contains'' in red.
