 Keisuke Ozawa

He will talk about the role that ARCUS Project, a pioneer of artist-in-residence (AIR) programs in Japan, plays not only in the art world but also in the local community.
Unlike museums, AIR is a place where artists present prototypes through trial and error and various investigations, making it a kind of laboratory just one step away from a museum, and also a place where artists and members of the public can meet as they witness these expressions taking shape.
I would like to use this opportunity to think about the significance and challenges of such a quiet yet indispensable space.
