High School Student Art Writer Award Special Exhibition until February 2th at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Information Plaza


A special exhibition showcasing the activities of the High School Student Art Writer Award is being held at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Information Plaza.

The High School Student Art Writer Grand Prize is an art essay contest held by the University of Tsukuba.
The ninth contest, currently being held and planned by the Art Support Laboratory and hosted by the School of Art and Design, received 24 submissions from 147 countries and Areas of studys in the English essay category and 4 submissions from 531 countries in the Japanese essay category.

The exhibition will display posters from previous High School Student Art Writer Awards and excellent essays from Japan and abroad in a three-dimensional format using panels and folding screens, and will also send a video message to high school students studying art around the world.

We also distribute a collection of outstanding works from the High School Student Art Writer Award and back issues of Art Writing, an arts support information magazine written by students, as well as collections of graduation research works from the School of Art and Design and pamphlets.
We will also be screening fun videos promoting our arts and science departments, so please come and see them.
