Art Writer Award for High School Students


The Art Writer Award for High School Students is an essay contest for high school students that gives them the opportunity to develop the ability to convey their ideas and think about art in their own words.

Please write and submit a 2000-Japanese-character essay about the connection between art and you.

Essay Topic Sectors

 Creative Experience: Write about your experience of creating art works.

 Work Research: Write about the work that the professional artist created.

 Artistic Support: Write about the interaction between art and people.

Rules
Applicants must be high school students or students attending a public institution equivalent to high school. For applicants from outside of Japan, applicants must be students attending a public institution equivalent to an upper secondary school (high school) in the applicable country.
